Flute.
Recently finished an arrangement of Myself (a choral work)
for flute choir. It is the first flute choir piece I've ever done, and
I want to thank Christie Beard for her help, and setting me straight
when i made mistakes. I've titled the arrangement, by the river,
and am really excited about how it turned out. |

| Opera. For the last 4 months or so, I've been writing text and music for my first opera, titled SUCKER. This is the first huge burst of creativity I have had in years, they kind where all you want to do is work. 20 minutes done (full orchestra score and piano/vocal score). I will take a break and pick it back up in the spring, and re-do the orchestration for chamber ensemble. Forecast Music is considering putting on an evening of new opera in 2009. | |||||
